The Raptors first look at Allen Iverson in a Pistons jersey will have to wait until later in the season due to league complications. Iverson and Cheikh Samb, the players being sent to Detroit from Denver, passed their physicals, however Chauncey Billups is still awaiting a physical which will happen on Thursday. Until then, the NBA can not sign off on the deal.
What does that translate to tonight?
In a battle of unbeaten teams in the east, this may give Toronto the edge. The Pistons are now without Billups and McDyess, two significant role players on the team. These two being gone added with Iverson and Samb not being able to play, this could translate into a win for a Raptors team looking to get off to an impressive 4 - 0 start.
