Player of the game:
Chris Bosh - 20 points (on 9-16 from the field and 2-3 from the line), 7 rebounds, 3 steals in 25 minutes. It's fair to say the Raptors need production like this from Bosh most games, and he looks ready as ever to deliver.
Notables:
- Andrea Bargnani - 15 points, 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. I said yesterday that he needs to heep his fouls under control, and he went ahead and fouled out tonight. Six fouls in 27 minutes is unacceptable for an impact player, especially one as hot-cold as him. After two full seasons, he needs to find a way to stay in the game.
- Jamario Moon - 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists in 27 minutes. Nice all-around game, if he can bring that every night he'll be a nice complement to Bosh and O'Neal.
- Will Solomon - 12 points, 5 assists, 2 assists in 21 minutes. Has shown decent scoring ability, but has 9 turnovers in two preseason games.
- Roko Ukic - 7 points, 2 assists in 13 minutes. Despite his unremarkable stats, he showed impressive passing ability and the ability to drive through the lane. Is looking more and more like a slightly flashier, younger Calderon - which is definitely a good thing.
Full box score
Stat of the game:
The Raptors shot 50% from 3-point land: Solomon 3-3, Parker 2-2, Kapono and Moon 2-4, Bargnani 1-2, Bosh 0-1 and Calderon 0-4(!). With Bosh and O'Neal working down low, it will be especially important for different (not just Kapono and Parker) perimeter players to make their outside shots.
