On Wednesday, the Raptors waived F/C Jamal Sampson. He played in one preseason game, scoring two points and gathering three rebounds in ten minutes. He didn't figure to play much this season at all, so this decision largely doesn't affect the club except in money matters. He was a warm body to practice, and since training camp is nearly over, he wasn't necessary anymore. The Raptors currently have 13 players on their roster.
