Jawai Cleared to Play

The Raptors received some good news Wednesday night when Nathan Jawai, the Raptors' rookie centre was cleared to resume physical activity. Jawai had been sidelined since training camp due to an abnormality with his heart. He's now cleared for action and will hopefully be ready to play in the near future.
Jawai was drafted in the 2nd round, 41st overall, in the 2008 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers. He was then dealt to Toronto in the Jermaine O'Neal trade. In the 2007-08 NBL season, Jawai averaged 17.3 points per game, 9.4 rebounds per game and 1 block per game in 30 minutes.
